The DAKS Blazers

DAKS & Henri-Nicolas de Preux

CHIC, CLASSIC PIECES

Hey Guys, I hope you are fine and that you have had a wonderful week. We have been pretty blessed here in London with warm weather recently and I have managed to make the best of it while shooting for British Heritage Brand DAKS. If you are unfamiliar with the label, DAKS was originally founded in 1894 by Simeon Simpson.

The brand has since become one of the UK’s most quintessentially British luxury labels, specialising in fine tailoring and accessories for both men and women, whilst continuing to uphold the values of quality, reliability and innovation.

During a gorgeous walk through the sunny streets of Chelsea, I managed to capture some great shots of DAKS'
most stylish blazers. For my first look, I went for my absolute favourite model of blazer; the double breast. I decided to make it trendier by combining it with a navy t-shirt and a tailored blue trouser. Depending on your mood, I do think that the double-breasted blazer is always a better option as you can make it either very chic or more casual when worn unbuttoned.

I combined for my second look a very soft and comfortable navy polo shirt
with a textured trouser. I finished it with a panama hat for a little twist. As for my third and last look, I combined a very bold yet so very elegant blue and white blazer, with an all-white look. My goal here was to keep the focus on this magnificent pieces.

DAKS
offers a wide range of beautifully tailored blazers, with emphasis on the quality materials used, like innovative knitwear and linens.
