DAKS X ROYAL TRINITY HOSPICE

DAKS have been working with Royal Trinity Hospice for many years, donating clothes annually to support their cause and local London charity shops. For AW23, DAKS and Royal Trinity Hospice have decided to expand on this partnership and create a scheme to encourage our DAKS customers to give back and offer new life to their preloved pieces.

The Take Back Scheme is a simple, free of charge add on to any DAKS purchase. When adding the donation bag to your basket, you will be sent the DAKS x Royal Trinity Hospice Take Back Bag in which you can fill all your preloved pieces to be returned (free of charge) to the Royal Trinity Hospice team. The items in your bag don't have to be DAKS, you can donate any preloved item from other designer labels and high street brands.

Step by step how to

Royal Trinity Hospice is the local hospice for southwest and central London, and the oldest hospice in the UK. Their expert teams provide specialist palliative and end of life care for their patients, from the moment of their diagnosis until the end of their life. They also offer after care support for those close to their patients, for as long as it is needed.

One of Royal Trinity Hospices main sources of funding are their ever-growing London charity shops. They are on a mission to be London's answer to sustainable fashion, which is what made them the perfect partner for DAKS. All donations and purchases made in their stores will help raise vital funds to help provide free end of life and palliative care for Londoners.

Last year, Royal Trinity Hospice shops helped save over 300 tonnes of goods from landfill, including reselling over 350,000 preloved items.

Did you know...

1.6 billion items of unworn clothing sit in UK wardrobes.

On average 26 items of clothing in UK's wardrobes have not been worn in the last 12 months.

Four in five people own clothes that have not been worn because they no longer fit or need altering.

Help us do a little more to reduce these stats while helping such a worthy cause, with the DAKS X Royal Trinity Take Back Scheme!
