DAKS X WORLD LAND TRUST

DAKS are supporting World Land Trust (WLT) for a second season to celebrate World Animal Day, Friday 4th October, with the launch of a 100% cashmere, made in the UK, scarf. 

For this partnership with WLT, DAKS continues to champion environmental conservation through the support of WLT's "Buy an Acre" initiative. Habitat loss is the greatest threat facing wildlife globally, and WLT’s solution is straightforward but impactful: by protecting land acre by acre, the future of endangered species can be safeguarded. For every £100 donation to the "Buy an Acre" program, one acre of vital habitat is purchased and protected in perpetuity by WLT's overseas partners.
 

To support this initiative, DAKS has designed a luxurious 100% un-dyed cashmere scarf featuring an exclusive interlocking D pattern, created in support of WLT. Made in Scotland, this scarf is a symbol of sustainable luxury. With 10% of proceeds going directly to the "Buy an Acre" initiative, every purchase contributes to the protection of threatened habitats. So far, WLT has funded the preservation of an incredible 2,973,486 acres, and this partnership ensures that fashion plays a role in conserving the planet’s ecosystems.
