DAKS x Blackhorse Lane Ateliers Collaboration Men’s Custom NW1 5 Pocket Jean.

The classic NW1 five-pocket jean from Blackhorse Lane Ateliers has been reimagined exclusively for DAKS, combining the character of a traditional London denim block with distinctive DAKS detailing.

Working closely with the makers at the Blackhorse Lane Ateliers factory, we have added our signature crest pockets, vicuna-coloured stitching and bespoke pocket bags featuring a specially created one-colour DAKS House Check print.

Each pair is individually inspected and personally signed off by the maker at the BLA factory, reflecting the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind every pair.

Fit

The NW1 features a curved waistband, allowing the back to sit higher than the front for additional support and comfort.

The straight-leg cut with a gentle taper retains a classic silhouette while providing greater room through the leg.

A versatile shape suited to an athletic build or those who prefer a straighter leg, the NW1 is designed to work equally well for both formal and informal occasions.

• 13oz raw indigo selvedge denim, woven by Candiani in Italy.
• 100% cotton, including 40% BCI cotton, with PVA-free construction.
• Sanforised and pre-shrunk fabric.
• Distinctive vicuna-coloured selvedge ID line.
• 10oz cotton twill pocket bags from Turkey, locally screen printed with a bespoke one-colour DAKS House Check design created exclusively for the collaboration.
• Vicuna-coloured, English vegetable-tanned leather patches, cut and hand-stamped at the Blackhorse Lane Ateliers factory.
• Leather patches supplied by JT Batchelor Ltd in Hackney, using leather sourced from Somerset, UK and Belgium.
• Leather stamping plates made by Metallic Elephant in Essex.
• Vicuna-coloured dual-duty thread by Coats, combining a polyester core with a cotton outer.
• Labels woven in Italy by Mion.
• Each pair individually inspected and personally signed off by the maker at the Blackhorse Lane Ateliers factory.
